Creating fluent readers and confident writers
From alphabet readers for our younger learners through to immersive content for older readers, our reading syllabus is brought to life through age-appropriate material that engages and inspires children. This approach, combined with exposure to a wide range of topics and styles, advances your child’s reading comprehension and encourages them to become critical readers.
We’re the ONLY UK tuition provider to offer a separate programme of tuition focused purely on writing. Our workbooks are colourful, engaging and designed to present a variety of writing tasks, with topics ranging from geography to biology. Eye Level students develop the confidence to write in a range of styles including narrative, informational, opinion and research pieces.

All writing tasks are completed in-centre (or via our online classroom if you’re studying online with Eye Level ON AIR), and all work is marked by us.
Our entire English programme is also available as downloadable audio files for use on a desktop computer, tablet or smartphone. This enables your child to listen to the phonics tasks, audiobooks and instructions, and can be particularly useful if English isn’t the first language at home.

How does Eye Level English tuition work?
STEP ONE:
Take a FREE Diagnostic Test. This will assess your child’s current abilities in reading, writing, comprehension, phonics and grammar.
STEP TWO:
Our experienced instructors will tailor your child’s individual English programme and get them started on our curriculum at the right level.
STEP THREE:
Begin your programme! The first stages are designed to motivate your child and develop their study skills, before they start working through their personalised reading and writing programme.
STEP FOUR:
Come to class up to twice a week. Our experienced tutors will deliver 1-1 coaching and encourage self-directed learning as your child moves through their individualised learning plan.
STEP FIVE:
Complete the supported homework between classes and bring it back to us for marking and checking.
STEP SIX:
An end-of-level assessment will measure your child’s progress and celebrate their achievements.
